  • NLPA's Pretrial Information Program (PIP)

For only $1,500.00 you can be provided with information from some of the greatest criminal defense minds of our time such as: Johnny Cochran, Jerry Spence, F. Lee Bailey, the office of the Federal Public Defender and the attorneys of the American Criminal Defense Lawyers Association concerning how to defend criminal prosecutions. You can also receive periodically copies of the current docket sheets from the court so that you can see what is happening in your loved one's case.  Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service.  You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • Plea Negotiations

If your loved one is not certain as to whether he should proceed to trial or enter a plea, the plea negotiation subscription package is the one for you.  This package will provide excellent articles and information that will help you and your loved one understand the pitfalls of negotiating a plea with the government, how to negotiate the best deal and what can be done to protect the defendant=s rights.  The cost for this service is $1,000.00. Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service.  You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • NLPA's Preliminary Sentencing Assistance Service (PSA)

If your loved one has entered a plea or has been convicted at trial and is awaiting sentencing, this service can provide valuable information concerning the steps that need to be taken to help with "damage control" as the defendant and his lawyer prepare for sentencing.  This service will provide you with information about how to have your attorney  prepare research designed to outline to the judge all of the reasons why the defendant's sentence should be less than what the prosecutor is asking for in the plea agreement.  It also will provide information concerning alternative sentencing programs and institutional  designation.

The fee for the Preliminary Sentencing Assistance Service (PSA) is $1,500.00. Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service.  You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • Appeals

If your loved one has been convicted and sentenced and now wants to appeal his conviction or sentence and you cannot afford to have your attorney hire NLPA to assist him in writing your appeal brief or he will not agree to have NLPA assist him, this service will provide you with excellent information that helps you understand the process of an appeal and what needs to done to assist the defendant in pursuing the protection of his appellate rights.  The cost for this service is $1,000.00.  Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service.  You can also receive general Notice of Appeal forms that you can file. You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • Post-Conviction Relief

If your loved one has unsuccessfully attempted an appeal or has waived his right to an appeal but still wants to pursue reducing his sentence, this service is the one that you need.  The information provided from the NLPA Post-Conviction Relief subscription service costs $1,000.00.  It will provide you with information about how a post-conviction motion can be prepared and submitted to the court to raise new issues that are not in the record (including ineffective assistance of counsel and new evidence). You can also receive the forms that can be used to file a post-conviction motion.  Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service.  You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • Halfway House/Work Release Placement

If you are looking into ways of helping your loved one to be able to be released from confinement to a halfway house or work release, this is the service for which you need to subscribe.  The cost for this service is $750.00.  You will be sent information about how  to proceed with applying for early release to a community treatment center (halfway house) and how to apply for work release. Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service to include halfway houses available in your area.  You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • Parole

If your loved one is looking into ways of pursuing release on parole, this is the service for you.  When you subscribe to the NLPA Parole Program you will receive a substantial amount of information about the parole process and what the defendant can do to help increase his chances of being able to be released successfully on parole.  The cost for this service is $750.00. Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service.  You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • Institutional Transfer

If you are interested in looking into ways to get your loved one transferred closer to home or transferred to an institution where he can participate in certain types of vocational or rehabilitation programs then this is the service for you.  Once you subscribe to this service you will receive a significant amount of information concerning how to go about helping your loved one apply for a transfer.  The cost for this service is $750.00. Upon being hired for this service, NLPA will send you a listing of the publications available through this service.  You can then select any or all of the available materials which your case manager will be happy to send to you.

  • How to survive Jail

If you are concerned about how your loved one can adjust to being incarcerated and how to avoid the pitfalls involved with it, this publication could be invaluable. It is written by NLPA's director and founder Hugh W. Robinson, who, as you know, served time in federal prison himself and, therefore, knows what he is talking about.  Subscription to this services will also provide you with a copy of the well known "What to Do When You're Busted" publication and other beneficial information about the incarceration process.  The cost for this service is $250.00.

  • Medical Issues Subscription Program

Being incarcerated is the worst place in the world to be if you have a medical problem.  If you have a loved one who is suffering from a medical issue, you know that it is very difficult for him to obtain proper medical care from the staff at the facility where he is incarcerated.  When you subscribe to this service you will be provided with information concerning how to go about helping your loved one obtain proper medical attention - including motions for medical relief and medical furloughs.  The fee for this service is $750.00.

  • Deportation/Immigration

If you have a loved one who is facing deportation and you do not know where to turn or how to deal with the situation or if you have a loved one who wants to be deported early under the International Treaty Transfer Program to his home country, this is the service for you.  The fee to obtain information concerning how to request an early release under the International Treaty Transfer Program or how to apply to be able to remain in the United States and not be deported is $1,000.00.

  • Getting Married/Release to Attend Funeral

Often times when a person is incarcerated he wants to be married or may have a death in the family and may want to attend a funeral. If this is your situation, this is the service for you.  When you subscribe to the services you we will be sent information about how to apply for approval to get married or to attend a funeral. The cost for this subscription service is $750.00.

  • 1983 Lawsuit

If you desire to file a lawsuit against the department of corrections or law enforcement officials due to the violation of your rights, this package is the one for you.  It explains how  a lawsuit for damages can be filed and also provides the necessary forms from the court to do so.  The cost of this package is $750.00.

  • Expungement of Prior Convictions

If you have a loved one who would like to get his prior criminal record expunged, this is the service for you.  NLPA will provide you with information concerning expungements for a fee of $950.00.

  • Clemency/Pardon

If you have a loved one who is interested in requesting clemency or a full pardon, this is the plan for you.  NLPA will provide you with information regarding clemency/pardon for a fee of $950.00.
