Pretrial Services
JUST ARRESTED? AWAITING TRIAL? NOT SURE WHERE TO TURN? NLPA CAN HELP!
If you are currently seeking assistance in the pretrial stage of a case, we have two different levels of assistance that we can provide:
- Pretrial Information Program (PIP)
- Full Pre-trial Assistance (FPT)
PRETRIAL INFORMATION PROGRAM:
Get the information needed to make the most out of your conversations with your attorney about your case.
Whether you are represented by a $75,000.00 privately paid attorney or a court-appointed lawyer, this is a service that you cannot afford not to have. For only $1,500.00 you can be provided information from some of the greatest criminal defense minds of our time such as Johnny Cochran, Jerry Spence, F. Lee Bailey, The Office of the Federal Public Defender and the attorneys of the ACDL concerning the defense of criminal prosecutions. You also will receive periodically copies of the current docket sheet from the courts outlining each development in your case for your review. As your attorney is busy researching, drafting, and preparing your case, NLPA can serve a role to provide critical information to you and your family. We will provide information covering all aspects of the pretrial stage including: understanding the various pretrial motions that exist, preparing a strong defense, your checklist for bond, jury selection, any many more. This subscription service can be provided directly to defendants. Don’t risk losing your rights by not having this critical information provided to you. Knowledge is power!
FULL PRETRIAL ASSISTANCE:
If you desire Full Pretrial Assistance and if your attorney is willing to receive NLPA's assistance, we will explain to your counsel how NLPA's attorneys can assist the defense team as you prepare for trial. If your counsel agrees to include NLPA in the legal arm of your defense team, we can then also focus our assistance to the research and consulting that will directly impact your pre-trial process. In additional to providing the Preliminary Pretrial Assistance to you, this assistance, would also include the drafting of pre-trial motions that are case specific to your circumstance, legal research addressing defenses you may have, consulting with counsel as to the investigation of the defense, trial brief, and the like. As the pretrial stage of a case can be very active, your Case Manager will also provide you with information concerning any new activity on your case, deadlines and various orders that are issued. This will also help aid in your understanding of what motions or arguments are being filed by the government against in order that you may discuss with your attorney proper strategy for your specific case. In this way you can ensure that you are "in the know".
"Knowledge is Power" In addition to our assistance in your pretrial case, we can also help arrange for any experts that you may need. This includes and is certainly not limited to ballistics, fingerprint, DNA, witnesses, private investigators.
No matter what type of charges you are facing, you can rest assured that NLPA is the team for you!
